We have sinned, we have committed iniquity, we have been wicked and rebellious, we have turned away from your commandments and your ordinances.

All Israel has transgressed your law, and turned away from listening to your voice. Then the curses and imprecations that are written in the law of Moses, God’s servant, were poured out on us, because we sinned against God.
